As the founder of JC Productions, I want to share the many talents of the entertainment industry with the world. The company’s mission is to change the entertainment industry with everything we produce. JC Productions began with music production, which allowed us to gain an understanding of what was needed to promote a company and how to help the company stand out from our competitors. In the future, we will branch out into film, television, and live performance. The company is a sole proprietorship that will allow the company to expand soon. This business entity allows for a personalized interaction with the client. I honestly feel in the direction in which the industry is headed we will give a new feel and change of what the industry has been waiting for. We will make our money from the music created, recordings to include voice over work, tours, movies, marketing, and promotional events. Because of my love for the industry I want to give raw talent the opportunity to develop and expand on their brand through our company. JC Productions wants people of all different ages, ethnic groups, and genders to be able to appreciate the entertainment coming out of this company. What separates us from the competition is that we want our talent to have input on the material created. Our entertainers, regardless of what area of the industry they are working, will have the help to develop their brand instead of being given a generic brand and not being able to reach their full potential.
The company will run as LLC. My reasoning behind this is because of me being the primary owner of the production company in which future artist would fall under. I have begun working with a local studio here in Hawaii to help in building the experience I would need to build up my own company. The roles will consist of an Assistant CEO/President whose focus will be on key relationships with the company’s top clients, and provides transformative strategic leadership. The CFO/Exe Vice President will be responsible for Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, Facilities and Risk Management. The President of JC Production Life Services will oversee open health as well and life services suite of benefits-management services. The CTO will be responsible for the focus on scientific and technological issues within the company. The Senior VP of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for establishing the sales targets to meeting our company’s objectives and developing strategies on our company’s goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. The Senior VP of Operations will oversee day to day operations to support the growth and add the bottom line of an organization. The focus will be on planning and goal-setting, and direct the operations of the company in support of its goals. The Senior VP of Human Resources will be responsible for job duties related to our company’s development, recruiting and staffing. They will keep up to date on employment laws, performance management, employee relations and compensation and benefits. I have begun networking with former artists and individuals from different walks of life within the industry. Those who are performers themselves as well as those behind the scene. My intent is to build a firm foundation of leadership and a team that will be able to carry on the JC Productions name for many decades to come.
JC Production is a film and entertainment production facility that you won’t find from any other company. We will provide the artists with a world-class ability to support them on creating new worlds. We want to create good ideas. What is a company that has great workers with no actual ideas to work off? They would be absolutely nothing without them. Good ideas are rarer and more valuable than good people is rooted in a misconception of creativity. I want to let those others in the industry and fans believe in what we are promoting. Every idea and every though must be original and come from within. We intend to keep things fresh and original never having to buy scripts or movie ideas from outsiders. Now I am not naïve to the fact every idea is not always going to be a great idea, but knowing that our adherence to a set of principles and practices for managing creative talent and risk is responsible. Regardless of how small the product may be to the viewer or listener it will mean so much more. We will constantly tryout all our expectations and investigate for the flaws that could destroy our culture. When creating different workouts of art, you must understand that creativity involves many people from different chastisements working meritoriously together to unscramble great countless efforts. Our entertainers will be able to stay within the trends, but still stay true to themselves. I want my department leaders to have as much input when it comes to putting out new products to the public. JC Productions will set the trends of the current generation and moving forward. Why do I know this company will be a great asset to the industry? It is because of the creative mindset to always see the big picture. The companies’ professionalism, diverse abilities to adapt to the ever-growing changes of the industry, motivation and determination to never give up no matter how hard it may get is what separates us from our competitors. JC production is the company that will take any brand to the next level.
The success of JC production company will be centered on the projects we produce, the talent we acquire, and the performance of the talent. Marketing will also be a major factor. All projects, as a tradition, are often marketed around the image and the performance of the artist; with an option of marketing the behind the scenes crew. Unlike many other businesses, JC production company will not rely on an ongoing revenue stream, we will operate on ongoing investments; which for the moment in time will fall under Aloha Hype as a base to get the company up and running. The source of profit will come from the productions we produce. Because entertainment and media are currently in "high demand", JC production company can profit from management using our resources to supply good quality products and services to the public.
Christopher Roman Ortiz (A.K.A. Mr. Boricua Boy) was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and started rapping at the impressionable age of 14. After exclusively rapping in Spanish and upon his childhood friend’s recommendation, he crossed over to hardcore rap. His inspirations were rap icons Eminem, Ghostfacekillah, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Daddy Yankee, and Don Omar. Within 7 months of joining the military, he auditioned as a rapper for the 2012 United States Army Soldier Show. At the end of his nine-month tour, he released his very first album on ITunes: Mr. Boricua Boy: Roman 1. Later, during his deployment to Afghanistan in 2013, he wrote an entire album which was scrapped because of a newborn change in style. He then went on to tour with the 2014 United States Army Soldier Show and after turbulent Hip Hop year while serving in Korea, he decided it was time to release his upcoming album: Rare Commodity under his company Roman Records, LLC that will fall under JC Productions. He is currently recording with his producer E-Flat while attending the Army Recruiter Course at Fort Knox, KY. Release date is June 30, 2017.
The primary demographic is the populace of the northeast United States, particularly New York City. The reason for that target audience should do with the aggressive hip hop associated with the area and the high English speaking Latino population. His target group ages include 15-32 that is currently that of the millennial generation. After a study done by the Nielsen group they found that males between the ages of 18-24 are among the fan ship of hip hop. That group mainly consist of Hispanics and African-American males.
Significant secondary target audiences include multi-cultural pockets in the US to include Miami, Denver, Detroit, and Chicago. International countries being actively targeted are Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom for the millions of hardcore Reggaeton and Hip Hop supporters there. Robust social media and performances are being utilized to market the artist and the upcoming album. Being able to capture those not pulled in from the primary target audience the goal will be to pull them in through styles of Reggaeton lovers of the new and old school sounds.
